Usage
- Paste a complete JSON value and use the error position if parsing fails.
- Choose formatting or minification and select the required indentation.
- Before copying, verify numbers, escape sequences, and nested structures against the receiving system.
Limits
- The input must be complete JSON; comments and trailing commas are not part of standard JSON.
- Unsafe integers, numeric overflow or nonzero values underflowing to zero, and duplicate object keys stop output. Input is preserved. Limits: 128 nesting levels and 1,000,000 characters.
- Accepted numbers still use JavaScript Number. Decimals may round, and negative zero or exponent notation may change. Exact amounts need an explicit decimal-arithmetic strategy.
- Object-key display order and string escapes may change. Use original text for signatures, hashes, and byte comparisons. Business schemas are not validated.
Example
- Input
{"name":"KitOtter","active":true}
- Output
{
"name": "KitOtter",
"active": true
}
This sample round-trips normally. Parsing and re-serializing is not byte-preserving; unsafe integers, duplicate keys, and out-of-range numbers are blocked.
Data handling
Input and results are processed only in the current browser tab. KitOtter does not upload, store, or analyze them to complete this task.
