Usage, example, and limits
Usage
- Choose the number of values to generate.
- Select case and hyphen formatting to match the receiving system.
- Copy the values and retain uniqueness constraints or collision handling in the application.
Limits
- UUID v4 uses randomness and supports distributed generation, but it is not a readable sequence.
- Removing hyphens or changing case does not change the underlying 128-bit value.
- A UUID does not prove trust and should not be treated as an access credential.
Example
- Input

f47ac10b-58cc-4372-a567-0e02b2c3d479
Each run should differ; this value only demonstrates the UUID v4 shape.
